Hey there! I’m Matt, a 24-year-old career chef with a Sydney catering company. Before I started catering, I was a chef in fine dining restaurants across Sydney, most notably, I spent two years in Quay Restaurant. During this time, I was fortunate enough to have won the prestigious Brett Graham scholarship, which had me set to move to London and work in the Ledbury. Unfortunately, COVID put a stop to that dream, this is when I started catering. Since then I have catered everything from backyard BBQs to lavish boat parties. I’ve prepared premium degustations, and catered for international celebrities. What started four years ago as a team of one has now grown into a talented team of seven.

How much does a private chef cost to hire?
A private Chef costs $420 to hire for a 4-hour event. Menu costs are additional to this price.
Yes, you will need to supply everything set on the table. However, we work closely with an equipment hire company and can provide this service if required.
Yes, the smallest group we will cater for is six guests, and our minimum booking value is $1500. For large events, we can comfortably cater to up to 250 guests.
Yes, we sure can. The most common dietaries we cater to are GF, vegetarian, and vegan. We will make alternatives for these guests so everyone can still enjoy our menu.
Yes, we can provide both bar staff and waitstaff, all of whom are RSA-certified and restaurant-trained.
Bookings are subject to availability. If the date is available, you can book on as little as 48 hours’ notice. In saying this, typically we book out 2-3 in advance.
