Upcoming Event Highlights For Catered By Matt
Recently, the Catered By Matt team entered the Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence competition. This is a nationwide competition that judges caterers live at their events. The winner for the state of NSW will be selected in October, and then the winner from each state will face off to find out who Australia’s best catering company is. (Wish us luck).
Later this year, Matt and his team plan on doing a restaurant takeover. This will be a pop-up in one of Sydney’s amazing restaurants. Matt and his team will showcase their best dishes of the year over 4-8 courses. (We will post about this on our Instagram when tickets are released!).
Billion-Dollar Playground Chefs
Matthew Mirosevich, with his brother George Mirosevich, played the lead role of the chefs on the international TV series Billion Dollar Playground. The filming for this show took place in 2024 and had the two brothers on set for over 12 weeks.
This TV show is a fly-on-the-wall sneak peek into the world of premium catering (with a twist of drama, it is TV after all). George and Matthew Mirosevich had to cater for 8 new guests every week for eight weeks. Working around their dietary requirements and preference sheets. The series showcases Luxicos holiday rentals. Matt has been catering for Luxico since the days of the Bare Chested Chef (2021).
