While the day-to-day operations at Catered by Matt are busy, our team always arrives at work excited, extremely caffeinated, and ready to slay the day. Over the past two months, we have been working on a massive project. If you follow us on Instagram, you will have seen us showcasing our brand-new HQ in Manly Vale.
On December 28th (probably the busiest week of the year), we signed a lease for a 125 m2, HQ in the heart of Manly Vale. Since then, we have installed a brand-new kitchen with top-of-the-line equipment, set up our office, organised our storage, and just today, we had the entire exterior of our building fitted out with our branding.
This project has been a labour of love for our team. Building a venue that we can continue to grow into has allowed us to hire another full-time chef and take on even more events. Before our HQ, we were catering anywhere from 5-6 events per week. Now, with the additional space and team members, we are doing 7-9, and this will only continue to increase.
I wanted to take this moment to thank you for facilitating that growth by being a part of our community. Your trust in our team is the reason we have been able to take on larger and more exciting opportunities. Our promise to you is that we will continue to create amazing events, serve delicious food, and be the Sydney catering company that you can rely on.
We have a few more equally exciting projects we are currently working on, and I will be sure to create a blog on these in the coming weeks.
