 At Catered By Matt, we offer a range of menus, with our degustation menus being the most premium and classy. We have catered everything from 2-course plated dinners to 8-course premium degustations, so we can cater to any level of luxury. 

The Best Degustation Catering Experience

On the evening of your event, the chef will arrive 60-90 minutes before the first course is served. This will allow him time to prepare and be ready for dinner service. Throughout the evening, the chef will introduce each course, explaining the dishes as the waitress serves them. Each course will not only taste amazing but also look Instagram-worthy. At the end of the service, we’ll clear the table and clean the dishes so you can unwind and enjoy the rest of the evening.

How much does it cost to hire a private chef?

A private chef at CBM costs $460 + GST for a four-hour event.

Yes, we sure can. The most common dietary requirements we cater to are GF, vegetarian, and vegan. We will make alternatives for these guests so everyone can still enjoy our menu.

Yes, we have a dedicated team of expert chefs, professional waitstaff and RSA-certified bar staff for corporate catering events.

We have many popular menus; however, this is our most commonly requested three-course menu.

Entrée – Pan-roasted Murray cod, pea salad, miso butter, preserved lemon puree
Mains – Beef eye fillet, mushroom puree, shaved mushroom, caramelised asparagus, J-choke chips, jus
Dessert -Puff pastry, chocolate curd, raspberry coolie, praline crumb, icing sugar

Note – adding 2-3 canapés as a pre-entree is also very popular.

Typically about 3.5 hours. The head chef will arrive at your location 90 minutes before food service begins. This will give him time to prepare the kitchen and get ready for service. The food service for a three-course menu usually takes around 90 minutes. Then, we will clear and clean everything afterwards so that you can enjoy quality time with your friends.
